How Does a Fresh 48 Session Work?

Fresh 48 Sessions are designed to capture those precious first moments with your newest family member shortly after birth. Because babies arrive on their own schedule, these sessions are booked based on your due date.

Once your session is reserved, I ask that you notify me as soon as possible after your baby arrives. We will then coordinate a time for me to come to your hospital, birthing center, or home (if appropriate) within the first 24–48 hours after birth.

These sessions are relaxed and natural, focusing on genuine moments and details such as tiny fingers and toes, first family interactions, siblings meeting baby, feeding, cuddles, and all the emotions that come with welcoming a new life into the world.
Every family has a special item that tells part of their story. Feel free to bring a favorite blanket, handmade quilt, personalized item, or sentimental keepsake to include in your Fresh 48 session.
